EZ135 & Zip Drive tech questions

I'm considering what removable-media drive to use with my Rom 01 Apple
IIGS and my Mac, and I have several questions. For the sake of
completeness, I'll ask the first four questions about each of the six
following configurations:

 I. Iomega Zip Drive with

     a) Apple Rev. C SCSI Card
     b) Apple High Speed SCSI Card
     c) RAMFast

II. SyQuest EZ135 with

     a) Apple Rev. C SCSI Card
     b) Apple High Speed SCSI Card
     c) RAMFast

1. Will the combination work at all on a GS?

2. Can cartridges be ejected and remounted without restarting GS/OS?

3. Can cartridges be partioned?

4. If so,

    a) can ProDOS partions be mounted on the Mac, say with PC Exchange?
    b) can HFS partions be mounted on the Mac?

(Macintosh PC Exchange versions 2.0.2 and above can load a SyQuest
driver into RAM, obviating the need to load it from the disk at
system startup. Does anyone happen to know whether this driver
works with the EZ135? Does PC Exchange 2.0.5 support the Zip Drive
in this way? If so, would these drivers works with cartridges
formatted and partitioned by ADU 1.2 with a Rev. C SCSI Card?)

5. In general, what is the best way to get a Mac SCSI driver on a disk
(removable or fixed) that is also to be used with a GS?

    a) Is the Mac driver installed by ADU 1.2 32-bit clean?
    b) Is the Mac driver installed by ADU 1.2 compatible with the
asynchronous SCSI Manager built into System 7.5.3?
    c) Will any Mac formatters update a Mac driver installed by ADU 1.2?
    d) Will any Mac formatters format and partition a drive for use on
both a Mac and a GS?

6. a) Does the Zip Drive supply termination power?
    b) Does the EZ135 supply termination power?

7. The SyQuest EZ135 has a SCSI II interface. Does SCSI II introduce any
    special considerations?

8. Is there anything else I should know?

I realize this is a tall order, and I shall be immensely grateful for all
your expert advice!

Thanks ever so much.
