Died, as was probably fated. According to rumour, Burger Bill had
large portions of the ToolBox rewritten, though the hardware side
remained mainly on paper.

The rumour was: QD-II &c. had been rewritten for use with the Avatar's
SVGA graphics. OTOH, if that is true, one wonders why that technology
wasn't licensed for SS; after all, seemless QD-II integration would
boost SS sales quite a bit. So, in retrospect, it remains a rumour,
and nothing else.
