Headings for both navigation and firing photon torpedoes use degrees,
with 0 being the top of the screen, 90 to the right, 180 to the
bottom, and 270 to the left. You can type a question mark (sometimes)
to get a list of the numeric commands that are valid. A bit of trial
and error ought to make this clearer.
