Does anyone know if a apple IIGS has software available to use the web
and email over the internet????????????????????

If you mean a web browser: No there is presently no web browser for the GS.
You have to find a net which has LYNX (a text-based browser).
Once you find access to LYNX, you simply type G and the URL of the site.
I do it in Youngstown freenet and NYX.
