Well, here I am, a newbie on the 'net, but not a total newbie to
computing. What I need to know is, just how do I go about downloading
binaries from newsgroups. Say for example, there's a neat pic in GIF
format (I can do GIF on my GS). Do I simply capture the text of the

I have tried to download .GIF files from various freenets, also .jpg files.
So, far NONE of the freenets did the job, except NYX.
So, I use NYX for downloading pictures.
