I spoke too soon, according to anothe replier to the original question
-- and the answer is still NO, not on a bare-bones GS because the
program mentioned by that person said it is in GNO/ME and requires 1.5
megs to run (and more for practical use).  Mea culpa, I'm learning! :)

OTOH, there's rabble about IRC and WWW software forthcoming for the GS.
Is this urban myth or can someone name what writer/company is making
this?  This is why I said "no, not yet" because said item isn't out.
