IBM to Apple

I've got both an Apple IIe (in a fluxuating state of Enhancement) and an 
Apple ///+ (yes, that's three slashes) that are crying for software.  
The problem is that I don't have the necessary comm software to get 
either to talk to another system.  If possible I'd like to download the 
software with my IBM (the machine I use for net access) and transfer it 
to the systems, either via conversion program or serial port transfer.  
Does anyone have experience doing this, and could they please give me 
some pointers on the best way to accomplish this?
