AST Vision Plus

I have has a Vision Plus card for a number of months now, and I'm 
interested if there is software for it other than the packaged "Allison" 
and "Allison.3200" programs.  Has anyone written Shareware for it?
For those of you who have experience with it, do you find the card 
really tempermental/sensitive/flaky?  ;)   Maybe it's a combination of 
the hardware and software that makes it seem so.  If I'm digitizing and 
pull the video in plug from the camcorder to put it into the VCR, often 
the whole program will crash into the monitor.  Sometimes when I attempt 
to digitize either in preview or fullscreen mode the program just hangs.
I've tested this with a regular boot and shift boot.

Other than those annoyances, I think it's a fantastic piece of hardware.
I can use it in conjunction with my VOC, piped through the PCT's video 
board.  Too bad all that is useless when it comes to the SecondSight.
