Use the TAB key to make the cursor go to the top of the page and
follow your nose from there. Install or remove 'checkmarks' with your
spacebar.

Ummm! What sort of help menu were you expecting to find in the editor?
There aren't any 'help' menus in PT 3.1.
By the way, The PT 3.1 editor responds to most of the same commands as
AppleWriter.
