It is called "A2.RAMCARD".

No it doesn't.  The patch code simply downloads the ProDOS/SmartPort
interface firmware into the PC Transporter, and sets up the drive
assignments within the card.  It cannot possibly load a GS/OS driver,
because GS/OS hasn't even been loaded at this stage.

I don't know exactly why the A2.RAMCARD driver misbehaves with a PC
Transporter (it only does this if you boot straight into GS/OS with
the driver being installed - if you go into ProDOS-8 first, or boot
GS/OS again, there is no problem).
