	I've not experienced anything like this while using ProTERM 3.1,
though there was one annoying glitch in VT-100 emulation that was never
quite fixed. In the original ProTERM 3.0, when using VT-100 emulation 
parts of the scrollback were scrambled (I vagely recall it creating lines
of garbage whenever the the 'alert-bell' would sound on the Vax system -- 
"new mail", "line length exceeded", "Advance past bottom of buffer", etc).
This was fixed in version 3.1, however rather than garbage, lines would
be repeated several times in scrollback. I still experience this problem
today, especially when using the EDT editor on this remote Vax system
(yes, I _much_ rather be using a Unix shell account, I'm no VMS fan ;-)
