I just want to add to this post that for the first 8 months or so that I
had the SecondSight card, I just used my old AppleColor RGB monitor and
I thought the SS card was a nice toy, but no big deal. When I got a
good SVGA monitor recently my attitude quickly changed. Just plain old
Apple IIgs apps and the finder are *so* much nicer to look at, and
text mode is beautiful, my eyes don't hurt like they used to.
One gripe: I really don't like the asterisks in text mode, they should
have been made more like PC asterisks, rather than the bloated Apple II
style asterisks that they are.
