: I still consider myself just slightly above "Novice"; but the Iomega Zip
: works fine on my IIGS. I have a High-Speed SCSI, Chinook 100-meg HD,
: 4-meg Ram using 6.0.1. Initialized and partitioned the Zip disks with
: ADU.
: With help from a couple of friends, all worked fine after right settings
: were found on HD, and back of ZIP drive.
Can you describe how you managed to partition the Zip ? And what
did you use ?
What happened on my Zip is, whenever I attempt to initialise the
Zip after I partitioned it, it will always comes back as unitialised. I
am really getting out of luck here. I am using the Advanced Disk
Utilities with System 6.0.1 and even the Apple II HS SCSI disk utilities
I cannot even do it at all. It attempted to write the partition table but
without avail. I tried to partition a 32Mb ProDOS + 64Mb HFS partition.
System 6.0.1 always tells me that the partition cannot be
recognised and ask me if I want to initialise it. It seems that it cannot
write back to the partition table at all.
Is there any other suggestions ?
HELP !!!!!!!!
