Not easy.  CGA is 640x200 resolution at best, with a fixed set of
sixteen colours.  A physically larger monitor with bigger pixels might
be useful.

CGA is digital RGB.  You would need an adaptor circuit to connect the
monitor: something which decodes the analog RGB signals output by the
IIgs and regenerates the closest matching digital RGB colour.  I am
assuming the control signals (sync pulses, etc.) would be compatible.
