If this mainly only happens when you first power on your GS, then
try switching the termination select switch, and shorten your SCSI
cables. When I had a real cheap 6 foot scsi cable from my GS to my
drives, I used to get this a lot more, but switching it to a short
high quality one worked wonders.
Verifying that your termination setup is 'correct' is also a good
idea. My Rev C Ramfast wanted the termination dip switch to be flipped
every 6 months a while back to be happy (giving 0C errors), but that
hasn't happened in a while.
