Yep, I compiled the IJG programs on my UNIX box simply because they run 
so much faster than on my IIgs. What can take upwards of 20 minutes on 
the IIgs takes just a few seconds on the UNIX box. This free up the IIgs 
for doing the real work, like actually viewing the pictures. :)
