Well, here's the way I remember it. Around the time of the introduction
of the IIgs, AE was really trying to sell ram to IIe owners. Yes, they
advertized that you could get between 3-16 megs of ram (CALL for price).
I don't think that that was a truly realistic offer--I doubt they ever
sold anywhere near that much (even today, that much ram in drams would
cost about $400-600.) Later in a 1989 Incider, the amount was a much more
reasonable 3 megs of ram for a little over $1000 (I believe).
Oh well.......
