Ahh yes, an interesting debate. IMHO if you use your computer a lot thermal
cycling of turning it on and off do a lot more damage than age. At work we
generally leave our GS's on all the time and just turn the monitors off. I'd
leave the monitors on and just turn them down, but they're aweful power hogs
whereas the CPUs are fairly thrifty.
