Hi James,
Thanx for the response. I guess I didn't make clear enough, though. I am
trying to boot the Photonix disk stand-alone from slot 5. I get as far as
the "In Speed we Trust" themometer (which does fill completely) then I get
the text screen with the sliding apple. I had a copy of this a couple of
years ago (not sure if it was v2.0) and it worked fine, but at the time
I only had 800k floppies, 1meg memory, and no hard drive. Now, the one
I am extracting from the Golden Orchard CD doesn't work. I know that
FTA uses the hardware directly. I don't have my 1meg memory card anymore
since I traded it in to get a lower price on my 4meg. The only difference
in my system this time is the 4meg simms (and of course the software was
extracted from the GO-CD) and a RamFast in slot 2.
