Betcha the file is a forked type $00 file. That's how files end up when
you copy 'em onto ProDOS disks. Once upon a time I wrote a program that
could read the data fork of a forked file and write it to a standard file.
My Apple IIs are about 500 miles away now so don't have it handy.
