Okay (getting my hopes up again) what is this Pippin???'II compat?

All right. Perhaps I'm getting my hopes up again.  Saw in the NY TImes buiness
section 2/12 that a Japanese co. is coming out with a product, that they
created with Apple Computer that will be called Pippin (sell for @$600).
 
It will be a comp. that hooks to the t.v. and will have Net and basic comp
stuff(figure I: wp, spreadshheets).  It'll be released in the USA this spring.
 
First thing I thought of when reading this was` could it be the Apple II?
 
Would that be great!  Get graphical WWW software and stuff...
 
Y'all remember my post from 6-12 mos. ago that a co. that came out with a $500
Apple II-style comp. would get rich...
