This is a repeat of a message I posted about six months ago.
I have a ZIP-GS 7/64 in my IIgs. I also use "Bank Street Writer Plus,"
a mouse-controlled work processor (8-bit).
The ZIP-GS card works great, but its _only_ incmpatibility seems to be
when
using the mouse in Bank Street Writer Plus to scroll against the edge of
the screen. As long as I keep the cursor away from the screen edge in
BSW+, it works fine. But 1-3 drags against the edge, and it crashes into the
monitor! (asterisks ****)
If I disable the ZIP-GS with its control panel speed setting, the
mouse-crashes are eliminated....
ADVICE SOUGHT! If any ZIP-GS users want to explore this
bug/incompatibility, I will provide BSW+ on disk.
BSW+ never crashes when I use it on my IIe flagship or on my IIc fleet,
some of which have ZIP 8 MHz chips.
