Classic Desk Accessories use the text interface, and are accessible via
the control panel on all versions of the GS and GS/OS.

New Desk Accessories reside under the Apple menu on any GUI based program.
NDAs will be dependent on which version of GS/OS is being used. Some
older NDAs will not work properly with 5.0 or later. Some will only work
with 5.0 or later, and some with 6.0 or later.

Also, there is less chance of an NDA interferring with other NDAs or
other programs if they are new or newer version. It is probably not a
good idea to use both old and new types. There were a lot of conflicts
with older ones. If possible, get the latest version.
