I've used P8 from GSOS v6.0.1 on quite a few 5.25" disks. Be sure to rename it
ProDOS on the destination disk. Where I've run into trouble is when I try to
use in on one of my unenhanced IIe's or a II+. For that I keep a disk with
ProDOS v1.9 handy.
