Vulcan GS scare!!

Yikes! Thankfully, I have all the original disks for the software on my
Vulcan 20Mb hard drive, and there is very little stored data on there.

Tonight, I kept getting "directory damaged" errors from both the GS/OS
Finder (6.0.1) and from File-A-Trix. I re-booted the computer, and the
problem seemed to go away.

My disk is almost completely full, and has a single 20Mb ProDOS partition.
Some of the filenames in my HyperStudio directory are obviously corrupt,
but I see no other obvious problems. I had just accessed that directory
when I started having problems.

Could it be that running HyperStudio caused GS/OS to choke, and that I'll
be okay if I just erase and reinstall that program? Or should I
accelerate my search for a suitable SCSI card and drive so that I can
reformat the Vulcan for use on my ][e?

Any guidance appreciated!
