No, it doesn't. Recently I uploaded the GNO Console termcap entry to my
Sparcstation at work after writing a simple terminal program that
essentially just grabs data from the modem and stuffs it to the text
screen. After telling my remote shell that "TERM=gnocon", everything
worked like a charm. Just as fast at 19200 as ProTerm. lynx looked fine,
too (with the -show_cursor option).
Of course, you need GNO for this to work.
