Q: ADT 1.21 and ProDOS disks

Helpful Folks,

I've recently acquired a IIc for which I have obtained
software by transfering disk images from the net.
For this I've used ADT 1.21 to extract/transfer PC disk images
to disks on the Apple. It works fine for DOS disks
but I haven't gotten a ProDOS disk to work after transfer.
On reset I get the "Apple IIc" message, then a ] cursor, then
the disk keeps spinning indefinitely. 
Can anyone tell me what's wrong? ADT is supposed to transfer
ProDOS as well as DOS.
Is there an alternate program for doing this?
