RamFast/DAT backup question!

HELP!  I sent this plea to seqjoea@aol.com several weeks ago, but never 
got a reply, so I'm breaking out of lurk mode to try it here!
 
School's, so I've been experimenting with DAT tape backup
using a APS WangDAT 3100 tape drive.
 
I backed up my APS 520 meg drive w/11 32K Prodos partitions (3 not
active) and one HFS partition (153 meg), and it seems to have no problem
at all.
 
However, afterwards when I went to the the SCSI Utilities and looked at
the tape device, even though all the backed up partitions seemed to be
there, I was only able to select (or highlight) the first 6 partitions.
All but three of those partitions were inactive, but 3 stated that they
were active (three that I can't select).
 
I went into restore to see if I could at least select them there (w/ no
intention of actually restoring), but I couldn't get to them there either.
 
 
I have a Rev. C v3.01e RamFast SN 2440, originally purchased from CVTech,
but I have purchased ROM upgrades from Sequential in the past.  Is there
a new ROM and does it fix this little "feature B-{)"?  I'm not feeling
very secure about my backups... especially if I can't select these
partitions to restore!
