1) The disk may not be centered in the drive. Try cataloging it before you
write to it. If it catalogs it should write.

2) There are two execellent utilities by Harold Portnoy called
Change-A-File and Resurrection which mend/recover AW files. I don't have
Harolds address to hand but e-mail me if no one else responds.
