So why are all my friends who have IBMs swearing everytime they buy a new
software package and it takes hours to install it and weeks to get it run
correctly? IBMs are based on an inferior processor, with artificial
limitations that are imbedded in MS-DOS, and not properly fixed in any
version of it or even in Windows 95. Is 640 K of RAM enough? Yes, they
have lots more, but all software must use the first 640K and page ther
rest in and out. That crap should have been fixed 10 years ago!
Also, why does Windows 95 take some 100 Meg of HD to operate? When it
does little more than GS/OS (in 2 Meg).
I did some figuring, and it would cost me about $10,000.00 (thats ten
thousand) to get an IBM and equivalent software to what I now use on my
GS. And that software is not as easy or as seamless to use as what I now
have!
If you are really disturbed by a reality that's different than yours, why
don't you go to some newsgroup that cares what you think? They aren't here!
