HELP! GraphicWriter III

ARGHS!

I just created a fairly simple two-page document with GraphicWriter III.
I then shut down the computer, carried it across the room, connected it to
a LaserWriter, and now I can't get my document back!

I first looked at the document that I originally saved:

:ae1:Cinemagic:Capital.TV:Comics.Rundown

and discovered that it held none of my changes.  A closer inspection
revealed that another document existed on the disk--

:ae1:Comics.Rundown

And it had the most recent modification stamp on it.  But when I try to
open this document with GW3, the system hangs.  Well, it doesn't go
"boink" and I don't lose my mouse, but I can't do anything with it...as
the document comes up, the system freezes.

What is happening here?  Has GW3 created a document that it cannot open?

Any suggestions?  This particular project has been causing me no end of
grief thus far...!
