Good questions. Basically, it wasn't that big a deal at the time. I have 
done a few laps around the net in my time, long enough to know that net 
deals are usually scams....so when the equipment I ordered did not 
arrive, I was not to surprised. Sure, we lost some money when we gave the 
client the parts free, but we have made several thousand on him over the 
years. Since no money was lost *directly* to Ditz, I really didn't have 
much of a justification to spam usenet with an "I got ripped off" 
message. I just put Ego away in the loser file and moved on.

Then someone posted a message here ASKING if anyone had bad service from 
Ego, so I responded that I had. With that, several people, like Duh-waid, took 
great exception to my assessment of Ego and have started the electronic 
equivalent of a Three Stooges pie fight with me. Oh well. So other than 
defending my position on a topic that has nothing to do with anything, I 
harbour no ill will toward Ditz and hope he gets his crap together.
