This is not an RGB port, it is the video expansion connector.
The original Apple IIc uses an identical port, which did not change
when the IIc+ was introduced.

It will not support any directly. Analog RGB monitors (such as
those used on the IIgs) are completely out of the question, although by
using a special adaptor it is possible to connect up a digital TTL RGB
monitor. One example was an adapter from a company called Video Seven,
although it's probably difficult to find these days. It would connect
to the video expansion port and create the proper signal for old PC
CGA and EGA monitors.

The video expansion port can also be used to connect up an
RF modulator, therfore allowing use of older an TV set (ie, those
with only a UHF/VHF coxial input). You can avoid the need for this
by using the RCA inputs found on most VCRs, then switching to 'Video'
or Aux-input of course. :) And although exteremly rare, if you can
locate one, a small LCD display can be used with this port, although
the quality is rather poor I hear.
