Well, for starters, if it's a //c (not a //c+) he'll need a DIN-5 to
RS-232 interface cable. If you need the pinouts for the //c, I have the
Addison-Wesley TRM on it. (I dunno the pinouts for the RS-232, tho...)
If he has a //c+, the serial cable is a standard mini-din-8 like a Mac or
//gs. Just make sure it's a hardware handshaking cable and he should be
able to run at 14.4, LAP-M, v42, & v42bis with no problem.
