Re: Disappearing GS/OS filetypes caused by Print 3200?

(Sorry if this is a duplicate, but my usual news server is flaky today.)

You must use Foundation to delete the rBundle, or you could just wait and
re-download Print 3200 v1.0.1.

After finding that the "dummy" rBundle was the cause of the problem, the
first thing I did was to run UtilityWorks to delete the rBundle. After
clicking on that option, a prompt appeared asking something like: Delete
Resource Fork?

After completing that delete operation with UtilityWorks, I was unable to
launch Print 3200. I got an error message after double clicking on Print
3200 from the Finder.

OTOH, the Foundation resource editor deleted the rBundle, and thereby
fixed the problem completely.

Moving right along, when John Wrenholt looked again at his un-compiled
source code, he said that every byte in the rBundle contained 00s.
However, as we saw, the compiled rBundle contained 5 or 6 bytes that
showed something other than 00.

John suspects, therefore, that the compiler itself might have a bug. I
asked him which one he was using, and he said "Apple's REZ."

Can anyone confirm that suspicion, or is it simply a wild and/or
inaccurate guess?
