All the legalities and licensing were worked out some time ago,
the problem has been getting the final game completed. As it stands now,
it's more than 95% complete with only minor things missing: Access to the
menu-bar, option to save game and a bug that causes crashes with certain
monsters. Bill is no longer working for Vitesse, nor has he the time to
complete the game.

Apparently though, Eric Shepherd has taken over and will complete
it once he's finished with another project. There's a distinct possiblity
it will be released as a shareware game. Two areas the game lacks in are the
abscence of music support and mediocre, at best, graphics. Clue of NinjaForce
offered to helped in the area of graphics (his new color palette and other
graphic touch-ups make it look quite decent!) though I'm not sure if his
efforts will be used. I assume at this point Vitesse is no longer involved
and will be refunding people who ordered the game in advance.
