Parallel.
Other than the interface type, the Apple DMP is almost identical to the
ImageWriter I. I haven't seen a detailed listing the command sets, but
they are very close.
(The ImageWriter II has many commands in common with the DMP and IW I,
but there are several new features and a couple of commands that have
been replaced by different mechanisms.)
