1. Change your ProTERM preferences (Misc:Preferences:More) such that 
Reverse is the only attribute displayed in inverse. This'll keep every 
link from being highlighted... you'll be able to see the one you are on.

2. Use the ClosedApple (or Option) key in combination with your arrow 
keys to navigate in VT-100. 

(On non-GS's, an unmodified up-arrow, makes a great line delete button for 
pine and pico.)
