Proterm woes

I am trying to eliminate status bar (top) from the screen and was able to do it only for a certain phone# by using the check rk > at the status bar box.
I was never able to repeat this for any other phone number. What gives?
I also notice that none of the other box whgere a check mark needs to be changed
work like in the Parms box.
Any ideas?
