Here's a dumb idea (okay, one good idea, one dumb).

First, see if theree's an Apple Users Group near you that has an Apple II
Special Interest Group (SIG).

Okay, two good ideas... get a subscription to Shareware Solutions II and a
catalog from AV Systems (1-805-569-1618). The AV catalog will have a lot of
economical software and ads for other resources.

Hmmm, maybe this isn't such a bad idea. Give Roger Wagner Publishing
(1-800-497-3778) a call and ask for information on HyperStudio GS. Make sure
it's the GS not the Mac version. HyperStudio will open the door to doing LOTS
of fun stuff with the GS with an environment suitable for kids (and us older
kids too).

Depending on how old your class is you might want to email Veriner Software
for a catalog too (Vernier@Vernier.com). They make all sorts of neat gizmos
for the Apple II for science eductaion in the k-12 market. These same items
are a blast in the over k-12 crowd too :)

Just a few ideas. For gobs more you might take a peek in your local public
library for information on the Apple II in general.
