Problem with IIgs monitor: Waving screen

Help.  The monitor to my IIgs, a Sony KV-1311CR, has developed a
slight wave.  The wave seems to move vertically from bottom to top
and is more noticeable the farther right or left of center.  On a
line drawn down the center, no wave is noticed on a vertical line. 
Objects move either slightly left or right and then back to position.
 I have connected another monitor (IIgs standard) and it does not
display this problem and I have connected the Sony to another IIgs
and it still displays the problem so I believe the problem is with
the Sony.  Any suggestions?

I will probably take it for a professional repair (computer or tv?)
unless the fix is quite easy, just looking for an idea of what/where
to point the repair person.
