Martin,

	I had the same problem using ProTERM 3.1 until someone in this 
group gave me the following instructions ( and I *believe* these are 
correct ):
	-Go to the Preference menu and select [More],
	-on "attributes to display in inverse", only have reversed selected,
	-turn off: bold, dim, underline, and flashing 
	-then, of course, save these instructions.

	This cleared up my problems and I hope this will help you.
