Anyone hear about the new "Printer Pal" for HP DJs...?

On the back of the 11/28 science section of the NY Times there is a computer ad
offering something called the HP PrinterPal for $139.
Supposedly you could hook this up to your HP DJ and it can act as a plain paper
fax receiver - even if your computer is not on.
 
Does anyone know about this contraption?
 
I have the DJ...can I send faxes on this thing?
 
This $139 device sounds cool and even if I can't sends w/ it
I could receive faxes without having my IIgs on.
 
Then, if I needed to send, I could turn on the comp and
send via Faxination or something (guess I should buy it!)
[anyone have Faxination for sale or let? Anyone know which
fax modems are compatible?]
 
I have the DJ 500, but I'll assume all DJs will work with the printerPal..
