sprintdisk

I have this and wanted to ask if someone can help me with it. I use 
Proterm 3.1 on my apple iie but when I try to access it by downloading to 
it, it only shows that it has only about 15000 bytes free on it but if I 
transfer a program of mine to it using copyiiplus I can put up to 
1,000,000 bytes into it. What gives. Is it that maybe Proterm is one kind 
of program and CopyIIPlus is another. I also formatted the sprintdisk 
both 3.3 DOS as well as Prodos and it won't take the download.
