Problems with Apple IIgs

Hi,

I have an Apple IIgs (ROM 1), Limited Edition "Woz", w 1 MEG GS/RAM

I haven't used the computer in a long time, and I thought I would give
it a try.  I tried to load GS/OS 5.04 and System 6 (I think, it wasn't
labeled).   However , when I tried this it loaded ok, (the red line
go the end) and then it said
"Unable to load descriptors"
"Error as $0027"

Most of the other disks seem to be working (some games, FTA Demos), but
I can't start any GS/OS Applications because of the the OS problem.
These disk have been in storage for over a year, so they might be damaged.

Does anybody have any suggestions?
