Some Commodore monitors are digital and some are analogue, so you will
need to find out which one is yours. Luckily, I have a rare Commodore
1902 with both onboard and I keep both my C128 (digital ttl) and my Amiga
500 (analogue) plugged in at all times, and utilize a switch on the front
panel to switch between the two formats. It also has composite for the
C64 side of my 128 as well as green screen monochrome.
My monitor uses round din-type inputs (8 pin and 5 pin). If yours is 9
pin, I would hazard a guess that you have a digital monitor as I've only
seen those type inputs on the digital versions. The analogues usually
have the round 5 pin dins for the Amiga cables. My monitor also has a
SCART connector but, being in Canada, I've nver used one of those, so I
don't know if they were analogue or digital.
