Transwarp w/ 14 MHz 65816

I have been running quite happily with a WDC Engineering part 65816 at 13.75
MHz in my ROM 3.
My GALs are the latest (I believe): 1A 2B 3E 4B 5A 6A 7A 8B

I have tried to use the new 14 MHz 65816 chip in my system, but upon power
up, I receive this message:

Transwarp GS Failure
(Error Code 0001)
1) Turn off, 2) wait 20 secs, 3) turn on
If message reappears contact AE Tech support.

I thought the chip was dead, and gave it up as a bad investment.
Until now.

I have just had the use of another Transwarp GS board which has been running
with the 14 MHz 68516 successfully, so I tried to figure out the differences.

After swapping chips (to ensure my 14 MHz worked in his board), Oscillators
(to ensure mine worked on his board), and cables (his didn't work on my board),
I then looked at the GALs. His Transwarp is an earlier version than mine.
GALs: 1A 2A 3B 4A 5A 6A 7A 8A

I removed the differing GALs (2, 3, 4, 8) from both boards and placed his
into my board with my 14 MHz chip. Viola... It worked. So I replaced my
later version GALs in the following order: 8, 2, 4, 3 and retried after
each new chip was inserted. It worked every time except after I replaced
the 3E GAL.

Ok. So can anyone tell me the following?

1) What TWGS Failure Error Code 0001 means
2) What changes were made in the 3 series GALs

And if you are running a 14 MHz chip in a Transwarp GS can you please drop
me a note to say what version your 3 series GAL is please? I will endeavour
to place the highest running version into the Accelerators FAQ (who's in
control of this anyway? I haven't seen a revision in a while).

Does anyone happen to have a spare 3 series GAL lying around?

Regards,
Andrew
