	I lost the original article. Someone was asking about Doug Smith
and Lode Runner.

	Doug Smith still owns the rights to Lode Runner. Sierra On-Line
released a game called "Lode Runner:The Legend Returns" last year, for
Macintosh and IBM machines.

	If you have a Mac or IBM, check the game out. Sierra is releasing
a sequel to the game (Lode Runner: Online--Play over phone lines or
network against a friend), which requires Windows 95 on IBMs.

	This means that Lode Runner is NOT public domain.
