I found that 99% of my problems w/my IOmega Zip drive was just the fact that the port was set to FAST and not NORMAL, setting it to NORMAL solved all the problems (pretty much, still some weird things left but nothing major, just doenst like copying large amounts of data at once tho that could just be my IIgs at work there)...
