Apple //e --> Modem

	Here's the problem:

	I have an enhanced Apple IIe w/Super Serial Card. I want to
connect it to my old Q-Modem 2400 (Quality Computers). I followed the
directions in the ProTERM 3.1 manual (and the Super Serial Card manual).
As far as I can tell everthing is set up right on the card. I bought a
cable from a computer store located on my college campus. It was labeled
as a IBM serial cable. I was leary of this to begin with and I suspect
this is the problem with the connection. Could it be possible that this
cable isn't wired correctly? When I use ProTERM, whatever I type comes
up as garbage on the screen. I don't _THINK_ it inited the modem (sorry
I can't remember. My suspicion is the cable. Can anyone else tell me
this is the problem (and possibly give a solution...Thanks!).
